Design of Huawei Y6:
Huawei Y6 has got decent designed with 5 inches IPS display and patterned back side. The measures 143.5 x 72.1 x 8.5 mm and just 8.5 mm thick which is ultimately become handy and catchy handset. its weight is almost 155 grams which feels in hands a bit heavy. there’s no telling them 5.5-inch Huawei Y6 apart. it has golden color shiny edges that makes it handy. Huawei Y6 is comes in two variant colors of white, and Black. The smartphone we have at Lab has White color. it present stylish out look with sleek and compact design but unfortunately has old design factor.
Display of Huawei Y6:
Huawei is packed with 5.0 inches IPS LCD display of 720 px screen resolution, The display has covered almost 70% area of front, while the three virtual buttons are placed inside the screen, As usual the upper portion of front has ear speaker and camera along with notification LED. The touch screen has 300 dots per inches and resolution is 720 x 1280 px. While the screen has viewing issue from different angles. Huawei Y6 has some issue with touch and response time as its touch takes some time to response as compare to other smartphones, Yet the display of Huawei Y6 is suitable of gaming. Graphics matters are controlled by Qualcomm Andreno 304 GPU.
Processor of Huawei Y6:
Hauwei powered by the efficient Qualcomm 8209, 1.1 GHz Quad core Processor , Qualcomm is leading processor chips provider all around the word, but still resounds rather negative thoughts due to the numerous overheating reports.
Unlike other Qualcomm powered devices though, The Huawei has a Quad Core processor with four Cortex-A7 cores at 1.9 GHz a. There is 1GB RAM for the 8GB model (as is ours). The GPU, which handles the graphics department is the powerful Adreno 304.
It gets heat up quite a lot around its top, but when use at its high frequency. It still becomes hot in everyday use, even with normal tasks such as updating apps, so have that in mind if you are bothered by such things. .
Memory for Huawei Y6:
Huawei Y6 is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM while internal memory can be expanded upto 32 GB, 1 GB is quite sufficient to play games and watch HD movies,while it will troubles in multitasking because it does not have sufficient memory. Well, In internal memory section, Huawei Y6 is equipped with 8 GB of ROM to accommodate data for long term,
Camera within Huawei Y6:
The Huawei is powered by a 8 megapixel camera on the back with autofocus, and 720 px video recording. while 2 MP front camera on front with efficient result. both camera have quick response time. The standard Photos mode has some advanced shooting modes as HDR, Beauty and Bestshoot. The Bestshoot option snaps multiple photos and combines them into a single image for better quality.It is important to mention that camera app does not posses its own gallery but only shows a preview if the last image shot. The moment you touch the image, you’re taken to the gallery.
Rear Camera of Huawei Y6:
Huawei is equipped 8 MP AF camera with sharp LED camera having Geo-tagging option . Dimensions of image is (3264 x 2448)pixel with, size of image is 3.84 MB which may vary due to light and colors in captured image. Huawei Y6 rear camera has LED and AF focus option that makes able to capture image in dark places with the good result. The camera has different mode panorama, HDR, All-focus, Best photo, and Watermark, while watermark mode adds detail of temperature, location and date. The result of Huawei Y6 camera’s is given below.

Huaweie Y6 has 2 MP secondary camera at the front that works fine for selfies while it is not equipped with Flash. Battery performance and Internal Storage of Huawei Y6:
Huewei is powered by a removable 2,200 mAh battery, which is quite suitable to support your Huawei y6 for long time. The Huawei Y6 did improve the 3G talk time, but didn’t impress in the video playback and web browsing tests. The standby performance turned out quite poor, which should have been more better. Despite our concerns, the Huawei Y6 has a respectable overall rating of standby time. the expected time between charges if you use the device for an hour each of calls, browsing and video playback a day.

The amazing logo of Huawei has drawn on back side while the back camera in square along with LED flash is housed on left Conner of top.
Interface Experience for Huawei Y6:
Huawei Y6 has it own custom interface supported by Android. It uses EXUI 2.0 inteface, icone are designed simple and elegantly. as you can check in snapshots. while notification has two colums one shows time of notification and second column shows notification. You can switch to quick settings from shortcuts option. The lock screen is the usual affair – it shows missed notifications. Swiping left or right will fire up the dial-er or the camera.
On homescreen, you can see the weather, your most used apps, and frequent contacts. You can also add widgets here and change the header image. When you first setup the phone it asks if you want to use Shelf. You can also disable or enable it later through the home-screen settings menu. by default it has four homescreen slides. while you can add or delete the slide according to your needs.
Bench Marking Huawei Y6:
while testing the Huawei Y6 with bench marking tool, it has shown good result which impressive for an entry level smartphone. In test, the app checks performance of processor, which include single core and multi core test, and also checks browser performance. The result shows that Huawei Y6 has packed with720 x 1280 px screen resolution.
Huawei y6 has beaten the HTC and Samsung GT-19300 with leading points of 14698. it proves its efficiency is better and reliable.
Checking the (GPU) graphics performance of Huawei Y6:
While checking the Huawei Y6 with GPU bench mark app, it shows the following result, 9,416 score in over all performance and 8,108 screen resolution score, as its pixel density is a bit low to just 300 dpi, while the graphics are tackled by Andreno GPU 304, which is bit out dated, old fashioned. Well, despite of having low points, it can still play games smoothly, and play HD videos efficiently.
Conclusion for Huawei Y6:
Huawei Y6 has Qualcomm 1.1 GHz Quad core processor, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM and this is a good combination for entry level smart phone. The smartphone has some awesome features along with quality specs. although it some issues of viewing angle and heat up. The smartphones with the specs mentioned above are always reliable and have better performance in the entry level smartphones. A smartphone with price of Rs: 14,499 with such great specs and latest OS Lollipop is an affordable device at good price.
